We hope to leave here on Wednesday, 24 June, Lord willing. If we encounter no problems along the road, we hope to reach Pretoria by Sunday afternoon, 28 June. Prayer requests:

Please pray for a safe journey.

Please pray for protection from any corruption, especially during border crossings.

Please pray for our time in SA. We have many appointments and commitments.

Thank the Lord with us for a blessed first 3 months in Malawi.

Please pray for the students, that they will have a blessed time of rest and will travel safely to and from their destinations.

Slowly but surely, winter is making herself felt here by us. The temperature is slowly going down. BUT – fortunately nothing like in Pretoria! Wonder what we are going to do in two weeks time…….

Farming God’s Way

On Monday 8 June 2009, we had the privilege of receiving training at the college in the methods and philosophies of Farming God’s Way. It was a blessed day, and we have learned much. We will now implement these methods here, and are hoping for better crops going forward. Most of the students are subsistence farmers, and the information will surely be of great help for them as well. Thanks to Mark Beckett who provided us with the training.

The Grace of Receiving

We have recently received the news that we have received a Toyota Landcruiser for the use of the Bible College.

This is a double blessing. Not only will we now have a vehicle capable of doing everything that we require, but we have the added blessing of going to South Africa to fetch the vehicle. GOD IS GOOD!
